Sherri Coale

Sherri Coale was the head coach of the University of Oklahoma women’s basketball team for 25 years (1996-2021). Inheriting a team in turmoil at OU, Coach Coale transformed the culture, and six years into her tenure at Oklahoma, she led them to the National Championship game. In 2009 and 2010, she took her team to back-to-back Final Fours. Coach Coale was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. Sherri is also the best-selling author of Rooted to Rise: The Redwood Legacies of Life-Anchoring People.

Brook Cupps

Excellence over Success

Brook Cupps is the head basketball coach at Centerville High School, where he led his team to the 2021 Division I State Championship and four consecutive Final Four appearances. With over 24 years of coaching experience, he previously coached at Graham High School and helped his team achieve a 50-2 record and their first-ever Final Four. In addition to coaching, as part of The Learning Leader Team, Brook helps leadership teams live in alignment with their values, become more disciplined, and earn better results. Brook is the author of Surrender the Outcome and co-author (with Ryan) of The Score That Matters.

Geron Stokes is the head football coach at Dublin Coffman High School in Ohio, where he has led his teams to multiple conference championships and playoff appearances, including two Ohio State Championships. He has designed the curriculum and taught leadership classes for more than a decade. Geron is 100% focused on his purpose, which is to maximize people. As part of The Learning Leader Team, Geron provides raw, unvarnished feedback in his “see it, say it” style that clients have grown to love.

Eli Leiker

Invest in others to maximize their purpose

Eli Leiker is an experienced educator and coach with 13 years in high school and college settings, driven by his values of “Strive Daily” and “Serve Others.” He plays a key role in producing The Learning Leader Show with Ryan Hawk, handling podcast editing, production, and assisting with leadership summits and consulting. Eli has been a varsity assistant basketball coach for 14 years under Brook Cupps, contributing to four Final Four appearances and a state championship. He also served as an assistant football coach under Geron Stokes at Urbana High School.

Why Work With the Learning Leader Team

When discussing ROI, most start with a financial analysis, so I will too. The Learning Leader Circle can be compared to any MBA curriculum or a graduate degree in Executive Leadership. When coupled with the podcast/books, the education one receives through the Circle is comparable with any Ivy League graduate coursework (and I’d argue better), at a fraction of the cost.

Next, for me, I drink the Jim Collins Kool-Aid and believe your “who” is the most important place one can invest. As an adult with children and a full-time job, networking can be difficult. However, a Learning Leader Circle does all of the heavy lifting for you. Calls are scheduled for you along with an annual summit. Most importantly, everyone is vetted beforehand so you do not have to spend your most precious resource, time, to figure out if someone in the group is worth building a relationship with – they all are.
