In my first job in sales, I worked hard to get better at it. I interviewed the top performers in my division, implemented their advice, and worked to become one of the most productive sales professionals at my company. I was pursuing excellence. The result was not only high performance in my career, but a lifelong curiosity in excellence: what it is and how to cultivate it.
The Pursuit of Excellence, my latest book, is the culmination of my obsession with excellence. To complete it, I’ve drawn from conversations with 450+ of the world’s most productive achievers as well as my own personal experience.
